


Pick a Service that suits:
· Common Worship Services (Holy Communion etc) are the new forms of service adopted by the Church of England. They are in modern English.
· Prayer Book Services (Holy Communion, Matins and Evensong etc) are the traditional services of the Church of England. They are in Elizabethan English and include Canticles and Psalms.
· The Holy Communion Services at 9.00am on Sundays and 8.30am on Thursdays are quieter services without choir or organ music.
· Family Services are for parents and children of all ages and regularly include the uniformed organisations (Cubs, Brownies etc).
· Sunday Evening Services vary from Songs of Praise services, through traditional Prayer Book Evensong with organ and choir to quietly contemplative services in the Taize tradition.
· Special Occasion Services at Easter or during Lent, on Remembrance Sunday, at Christmas or Ascension Day take a different form, appropriate to the occasion.
At St Mark’s Parish Church
Kneelers are on a shelf beneath each pew or hang from a hook in front of you.
A loop system for the Hard of Hearing serves the pews in front of the Warden’s staves Hearing aids should be set to position ‘T’.
Toilets, a Toilet for the Disabled and a Baby Changing Unit are available at St Mark’s Parish Church in the adjoining hall during the 10.30am and all major services. During other services please consult a sidesman.
At St Saviour’s Mission Church
Kneelers are available and there are toilet facilities.
