Adjacent to St Mark’s Church and linked to it by a covered walkway, there is a leisure complex comprising hall, lounge and conference room overlooking the hall. There is also a well appointed kitchen with a hatch onto the lounge area. Although the complex is in regular use it is still possible to hire any of the rooms at reasonable rates.
Enquiries about booking any or all of the rooms can be made by telephoning the office between 09.00 and 12.30 from Monday to Friday, or on Tuesday afternoons between 13.00 and 14.00. Please be aware that no provisional bookings can be taken over the phone. In order to secure a booking it is necessary to come into the office at any of the above times and pay the deposit and hire fee. Only then can a booking be regarded as confirmed.
There are stringent regulations regarding the provision of alcohol during a function, and also the management of children’s events. These regulations will be explained on request.

There is also a small hall in Alton Road which is available for children’s parties on Sunday afternoons only. Enquiries regarding this hall should be made to the office between 09.00 and 12.30 Monday to Friday.
