On the 21st September we said farewell to Revd Jonathan Burke and his wife Sandra.  Jonathan had been assistant priest at St Marks for many years and the congregation were sad to lose them.  However, all were delighted that Jonathan has been offered the post of Team Vicar of the White Horse Team (Salisbury Diocese). The service on Sunday 21st September was an opportunity to say thank you for all he had done for the Parish of Talbot Village and to wish him and Sandra every blessing on the new chapter in their lives.

On the following Saturday members of St Mark’s travelled up to Salisbury for the joyous occasion of the ordination of the Revd Joseph Smith to serve as curate in the parish. He and his family have been members of St Mark’s for a long time and it is a great pleasure to welcome him as a new member of the clergy.
