Mothers’ Union is an international Christian charity that seeks to support families worldwide. We are a group of mums with school age children, although all are welcome! We share one heartfelt vision – to bring about a world where God’s love is shown through loving, respectful and flourishing relationships. This is not a vague hope, but a goal we actively pursue through prayer, programmes and community relationships. By supporting marriage and family life, especially through times of adversity, we tackle the most urgent needs challenging relationships and communities.

We meet monthly, 2nd Friday of the month in the church coffee lounge at 10-11.30am.  A typical meeting involves a talk from a kind volunteer; for example, 'How to keep your children safe on the internet', 'Demonstration on cooking good tasty family meals', 'Fund-raising events', 'Health education', 'How to tackle school homework' and much more. We have kind volunteers from the main Mother's Union who help look after our children while we listen or get involved in the meeting. Tea, coffee and nearly always yummy cake is served. For non-members we ask for £1 per meeting towards the costs. Our programmes are designed to meet the needs of people at the local level. Come and join us.

We have our own website for regular updates,
